The razor

As I noted as an aside earlier:
 
      KISS = occam's razor = principle of maximum entropy (Jaynes) 

I think that maximum entropy is actually the most fundamental of these
and provides a sort of quantitative justification for the other two.
Maybe our next language should be called "jaynes" or "edwin" ?
