RE: Yet another article on the need for better parallel.
There is an interesting article on p15 of PC Pro (UK) November 2006
(issue 145) by David Fearon.
He refers to a Gartner report and the fact that virtualisation may be a
way of solving some of the complexity issues.
Surely CSP is the answer to how virtual processors should interact? Is
this an opportunity to bypass the OO v CSP argument and start with CSP
as simple inter-virtual processor communication? In other words, treat a
modern Intel/AMD CPU as being equivalent to a board of 4-8 transputers.
